Need advice regarding plea bargain an immigration consequences

Summary: charged with Petty theft in california PC 484, planning to enter a plea bargain. No prior record...first time offence. Applied for citizenship just prior to this incidence.

Questions :
1. What are some of the of charges that are non CMT and will not pose immigration issues if I get in a Plea bargain.. would bargaining for the following two charges have any immigration consequesces specially in getting citizenship application processed

A) 409.1 infraction
b) 602.5 trespass

2. Also are there any other reduced charges for 484 (petty theft) that can be considered/ bargained for which would not have immigartion consequeces.

How do I drag it till then ? I don't know how long will the naturalization process take 6 mos/ yr. My fingerprints aren't even done which is the first step.
Any advice on the plea bargain in the meantime would be very helpful .

You may need a very good criminal attorney who knows enough immigration law.

To find out the immigration consequences of various charges/plea bargains you may need to consult an immigration attorney. Some of them do this on the phone if you could produce (by fax) all the documents you have so far regarding this case. In the midwest I have paid $100 for a one time consultation in such situation.

The criminal attorney should take care of it.
