Hi,

I got my PR in Mar'99. I filed for naturialization in Dec'03 (that was after 4 yrs and 9 months). I was out of country for about 4 months (total from 4 visits). I got my interview scheduled for June'04.

My question here is : At the time of interview should I've to be completed 5 yrs stay (1825 days ) in US.

My friends say - I may be asked to reappear for the interview if I did not stay in US 5 yrs (1825 days).

I appreciate your time.

Thanks

No worries

You should be fine. You need to meet all the requirements at the time of the interview, and based on the data it appears you do.

Time as PR: 5 years ( you will be 5+ years in June 04)
Continuous residence: not broken (since no trip > 6 months)
Physical presence: At least 2.5 years ( completed).

Note that you do not need to deduct the 4 months or so you spent outside coz you were still a permanent resident for those 4 months.
