Need advice on my first TN

Hi there,

1.I got 4 year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Philippines.

2.I got about 5 years computer programming experience.
(I have sent degree copy for evaluation to International Credential Assessment Services of Canada and I think they will evaluate it for Completion of Secondary school education and Community college diploma for
2 years).

3.I started a 6 months post graduate diploma (Internet development with Java and Oracle) at University of Toronto and graduating next month.

4.I have some job offers from US computer consulting company which will train me for one month and then then find wok for me.

5.They also provide letter for employment for TN purpose.

6. The company I am considering is in MI. USA.

My questions:
1. Any one who had good/bad experience with these type of companies please provide some advice?

1. what are my chances for getting TN visa ? should I consider getting a lawyer ?

2. Which is the nearest and good port for visa?

Please provide advice....Thank you in advance.

Once you have your evaluation done, then you need to get the offer letter from the employer. It's very important to have the letter worded correctly.

From an educational point of view, it looks like you might be okay. Have you looked at the TN job classifications and their requirements?

Thank you for quick reply , I did checked and I think I may qualify. The reason
I posted this tread that everyone may qualify himself so I wanted experienced
people like you look at my posting and put their comments.
