I am considering to file a Writ of Mandamus for my I-485 pending since Jan 2005 at NSC. My security check is pending according to USCIS inquiry, and I have done the following:
1. Inquired USCIS twice;
2. Asked for help from Senator and congressman, but turned out to be fruitless;
3. Wrote letters/faxes to NSC, FBI, the First Lady office, all no response.
I am asking my employer to write to FBI too, but I am not betting too much on it.
Now I have a question for filing Writ of Mandamus.
I recently moved from A state to B state for a similar job (my case is EB1b), but my family/house is still in A state. I still keep the A state drive license (cars are registered in A state for family use, and they are financed vehicles and titled under my name), and am actively maintaining the residence in A state.
Where should I file the lawsuit? A state or B state? Or propbably both district courts will dismiss my case due to lack of venue or residence issue?
Any advice would be appreciated.
