Hi,
I'm a postdoc researcher in a US University. I have a PhD from US University, 7 journal publications, about 6 conference presentations, reviewed 3 journal articles on invitation, have 13 citations on my work, 2 International paper competion awards and 1 fellowship award in Germany. Do I have chances of getting GC in EB1 (EA)??
Should I apply through lawer or apply myself using Do It Yourself package available on some website??

I'm currently on H1B visa.
Please help me

Unfortunately, IMHO, your chances are very slim.
If decided to go for EB1-EA, I would suggest going through a lawyer so your case would be well prepared and well presented.

I can also add that waiting another year to get more citations and have much more reviews would help a lot.

It would depend on how you present your case.

I had similar creds when I applied a few years ago ... only difference was I reviewed many more than 3 manuscripts for journals. I also had less than 20 citations, but some of them were really good citations-- i.e., they actually referred to my data and compared theirs to mine.

In any case, I got my NIW and EB1-EA w/o RFE.

As mhush suggests, you ought to consult with a lawyer, since proper presentation will make a difference in a "borderline" case like yours. I certainly benefited from a good lawyer.

Good luck!

(Not a lawyer, etc., etc..)
