Hi,
Me and My sister are living in USA and we want to get my father on B(Visitor) visa to USA.
Can anyone please advice or provide information for the following questions of mine ?
1) I would like to know who has the better chance to sponsor visitor visa to my father ?Me ? My sister ? or My sister's husband ?. Here is our individual status:
Me: I am working as software engineer on H1B Visa. My visa is getting expired by December 2003. But, I have 2 more Years of H1-B left. Can I sponsor Visitor Visa for my father ?. If yes, what are the chances of getting visitor visa as my visa is getting expired by december ?.
My sister: She is a housewife, but, she has got EAD valid until september 2004.
My sister's husband/Brother-in-law: He is a software engineer and he has EAD valid until september 2004.
2) Also, My mom passed away a month back. Is it better to reveal that information or NOT reveal that information during personal interview at the consulate?. (He was asked to attend
personal interview as he is only 53 years old.)
Thank You,
varma
