Hi JoeF,

From time and again I have see you advise on the legality
of various situations. I need a specifiec advise from you:

For a person who is currently working on a valid H1B status, but holding an EAD (140 not yet approved), spouse working on EAD.

- Is he already on EAD status (even though he has never used it) because of his wife's usage of EAD?

- If he needs to start a business (as a side thing), while continuing to work for the current employer (so as to enable GC processing), are there any legal hassles for him?

As far as I understand, one can do pretty much anything on EAD, right? side jobs etc? as long as he is continuing full time employment fullfilig his labor criteria with his sponsoring employer.

Need clarification.
