Hi,
I am an Indian citizen am currently in US on a F-1 visa. I have previously been to US on a J-1 visa. I was about to start the first step of J-1 waiver process, i.e. get NORI form attested from Indian embassy.
I currently live in Texas, and will be shifting to San Francisco from June last week. I understand that the Indian embassy needs a residence proof to attest the NORI forms. Please advice if I can should get the NORI attested by Indian embassy in Houston, or in SF. Is there any way that I can get NORI attested by SF embassy as I will be living in SF from June end ? However, I do not have an address proof/lease in SF at this point. I am willing to go to SF embassy in person to get the form attested.
If I get NORI attested from Houston embassy, and later shift to SF, is that a problem ?.
Looking forward to your views,
Thanks in advance
