Need Advice:Filing for EB2 using experience gained with same employer

Hi Gurus,

I am working in the present company as a Computer Programmer for last 2 years. I also have 1-1/2 yrs of Mechanical Engg related experience in India.

The company is planning to file the labor for a position for me whose duties are 50% + different than what I currently do. It will consits of @ 60% work related to Mechanical Engg and @40% in programming.

We are thinking of filing EB2 with MS(Mechanical Engg) + 1-1/2 yrs.

My questions are:

1. Would there be any problems with this case?

2. Is there normally too much scrutiny for a labor filing as this (filing for dis-similar position)..Like Audit Review or RFE later on?

I am sorry I am can not be of much help but are there any additional requirements for the >50% change in job duty clause? Or is there a website location with more information.
This is a very interesting as I am also in a similar position. I am a mechanical engineer in more of a projetc engineer position. Thanks
