Many approvals for April, May and June 2002 @ rupnet. Kool, Nebraska eventually cleaning the dust on old files. Good luck old folks

yeah, it looks like they are moving a bit faster and cleaning, the only thing is that the processing date has not changed yet and is still showing 2/1/02 as of mid August. From that I undersatnd that the next day to be published is not going to be like the other service centers (somewhere deep into 2002), but still the begining of 2002.

Good luck to all of us, and a big TGIF

it is good news for old filers. but how NSC processing time is Feb 2002 and still filers before that pending?..thats sad

I don't understand their system, and no suprise in that. I did an address update and it took 30 days before my LUD changed for 2 days and on the 3rd said that they've sent me the confirmation.
A friend of mine with RD Sep 2002 did an address change on Friday and next Tuesday his LUD changed along with the same online message.

So, older files take longer to access - that is my only conclusion.

I dont understand it either. When I changed my address there was no change in LUD, but when we changed the address for my wife the LUD changed next day and also received an email update. strange!!!

I 140 AD 12th sept 2003
I 485 ND 29thMar 2003
2 EADs approved

Well, I don't think this is strange. Please remember that data entry about change of address is done by a person, and is not an automated step. So once they receive the address change info, a person is required to update it. Depending on how efficient or lazy this person is, the information would either get updated immidiatly, or be still lying on his plate for weeks !

Last month was a great month on Rupnet and up until today we see about 50 approvals which could mean ~150 for this month.

I am waiting for the official monthly stats for USCIS to see the overall progress.

Exactly the same case with me. We changed our address on 7th Sept and the LUD for my wife changed on 8th sept, 9th sept and 10th sept and the online message says :

On September 9, 2004, we responded to your request for more
information concerning your case. If you have not received our
response within 30 days from this date, please call customer
service at 1-800-375-5283.

What does this mean. I am puzzled.

Same message here:

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On September 10, 2004, we responded to your request for more

Looking at the RDs, there's no way that they replied to inqiry. More likely they did an address change, and the mail will be the actual confirmation.
Please let us know when you get the mail.

npnjan02,

I didn't change my address, just asked them to verify my SS# correct in their system, I guess that may be the trigger to cause this message, but I will keep your guys posted once I get it.

Thanks,

here are my observations, and am not sure I'm right, but these are just my 2 cents:
1. Every time somebody is calling the USCIS toll free number, and it changes the status, it shows as if they touched it, hence is getting into the statistics they would like to present. Although the bottom line didn't change for us, from their end, it is giving them credit point for "touching" a case.
2. I didn't see any evidence from what I read here that these kind of inquiries really get the applications approved faster. So again, the bottom line from our end is the same (i.e. no approval), however they are claiming these calls as if they touched the files.

best,
