Dear Gurus,
Today I received the RFE from Nebraska for my EB1 application. I think its the toughest RFE one can ever dream about. The people who have given me letters, their CV has been quoted to imply this is the level they are claiming. One of them is my bosses ex boss. This is what I have claimed in black text, and the one in red will be the new evidence, that I will be adding. My question to all the gurus and experts will be can I fight this RFE. Here are my claims

Phd Microbiology+ 5 years post doc US premiere lab in Marine Microbiology
~20 letters of recommendation (stating national/international acclaim USA, Australia, US , Canada and India, which includes industry also)+4 more, Spain, Japan Brazil, Current Boss… was not employed at the time the application was filed
7 publications(6 where I am the first author)
11 proceedings
32 citations +61 new
4 times selection for talks by NASA
3 invited talks
1journal review+1 new
1 grant review
1NSF scholarship to attend workshop
Plus claiming the discovery of new microbial lineage, new strain for biotech application

I dont know what the lawyer wrote in the covering letter. But all I know that this forum is great and everyone is so helpful. I would really appreciate your views. I can post the RFE if required.
Thanks a lot

Keep in mind that any new citations, pubs, or activities that occured after your application are not admissable-- you were claiming to be EA at the time of application.

Just reading your credentials, the thing that stands out the most is the invites to talk at NASA. Can you really emphasize this? Letters from the people who invited you, saying why you were invited? That you were so extraordinary, they invited you multiple times?

Best of luck!

Wow! That seems rough. Your credentials look very strong. What exactly is your RFE asking you for? That is not clear from your posting.

Thanks WearyOR and greengolum,
I appreciate your supposrt. The new citations most of them were missed out because Googel did not detect them. Then I got a link to Scopus and found out that I had missed most of them, which I will add now.
I will try posting the RFE, but they thrashed everything, specially that is the weakest and ignored the strong points and said, not enough evidence for National and International acclaim.

You have a very strong background and if you carefully fight your rfe point wise I would say you have very very good chance of success. Try ISI web knowledge by Thomson for searching the citation (that will be totally complete) and give that search print out for each of the publications. Blow up the NASA story as already said. Just guessing, can you pull out some clues from your research like marine environment, food, economic issues which can have a huge impact on a global scale and you are the key person in that..I am sure you already did.
I wish you all the best and goodluck.

Thanks krqkty,
I really appreciate you views for my background. It actually gives one the motivation to fight the RFE as you mentioned. I did look up the ISI website also to add to the citations. I will post the RFE soon. I will try covering the points that you have mentioned about the economic issues...!! Hope the lawyer lets me see the RFE response as I did not see the letter for the application.
Thanks again.
