ND2005 -- Are they really moving faster?

Hi guys,

Just wanted to gauge your opinion regarding the processing of I-485, filed in 2005.

To me, at least, it seems like people who filed in the second half of 2005 is getting processed a lot faster than people who filed before. Most of them already had their BIOs done, as well as medical.

I have many friends who are ND2003 and ND2004, and have not done even a BIO yet, let alone receive a RFE.

What do you think??

My wife (same timeline as mine) got approved Dec 21, 2005. So I know for a fact things are moving.

Floyd,It's really a mystry what procedure USCIS follows as far as processing cases.
Trust me I won't be surprise at all if I hear that someone filed January 1ST,2006 & receive approval letter next month where else applicants like me, Cody, Lazer & so many other brothers & sisters in this forum from ND 2000 still waiting & kept thinking what did we do wrong that our case is still pending .
It's true things are moving bro but never know when it could stop or let's better to say it's definitely moving for some people but not for all. Atleast me, Cody, Lazer could speak that loud. Want was with us too but luckily he got his approval last month. I was very hopeful end of last year & Want kept telling me not to be so hopeful & I was mad but seems like Want was right all along. Want, You were right bro I kept loosing hopes now-a-days.

if somone told me this is happing in the USA not in third world, I would not belive. this is outrageous.
I just prepare myself mentaly for years of waiting. and focus on my life and family. but will never loss hope

Mr. Wait:

My lawyer told me that I have to wait for another 2 years to clear my name checking as 2005's backlog of name checking has not been touched yet.
I know I could be sad any more, otherwize, as my wife told me that she would deliver the G/C to my tomb. So, all waiting, poor souls. cheer up, cheer up, enjoy our lives. Just need time, all of us will get G/C sooner and later.
