Today (9/1/05) received the ASC Appointment Notice to do BIO. Original date on the notice says 08/26/05, which is 7 days after they sent me an RFI and one day before they received my response to RFI.
My BIO is scheduled on 09/09/2005.

No, I am not. I am from a former soviet union country.

Do you guys really think the country of origin plays role?

I would say you are on the white list:)

Rfi

I went to the civil surgeon last Wed, he told me if i do not have my Vaccination records he can't sign the immigration papers for me. so what he told me to do was to do all the test with my primary care physician and bring him the results before he can sign the papers. i hope all this can be done by next week.

Country of origin does play a role

That's correct. the country of origin does play a role. If you are from neither *stan country nor from a country that has a lot of political asylum claims, then you have a shorter waiting queue. Thanks for sharing with us your experiences.

Hey Andrew, thanks for your wishes. Still waiting, according to other people's timeline, it takes about a month after doing BIO to get an approval or RFE or whatever comes next, so still waiting....

Lusiks, did you receive the BIO appointment as "we mailed you RFE..." as an online message and email notification? I did my BIO on Saturday that came right after "we mailed you RFE.." Didn't receive any RFI before.
Nice to know that we are probably on the white list :)

No, my online status message never got updated with "BIO sent" notice. It only got updated when they received my response to their RFI...
