My attorney got the RFE notice 15 days after the message changed to ask for RFE, really frustrated about the materials requested:

1. Employment letter, OK! I\'ve got it from the HR manager
2. G325 Autobiography, OK! Will write it.
3. The one: all previous I-20 forms, I came to USA in Augst, 1994 with a I-20 from the Mechanical Engineering Dept as a Phd applicant. The problem is I switched Electrical Engineering Dept 1 yr after I stayed at M.E. and I got my MS in EE one yr after I switched to EE dept. Really afraid of that this si going to cause problem.

Your advice and experience is greatly appreciated, thank you very much, looking forward to hearing from you all.

Yes, i got the second Form I-20 from EE dept, also with big assistantship. I couldn\'t remember if I filled this change to my first G325a whem submitting the I-140.

I think you should be OK. What I have learnt from this board is that INS issues RFE for I-20 just to check whether you were in legal status in the US through out your stay. As long as chronologically you can prove that all this time you had one or the other legal status, you will be fine.
I also moved from one Master\'s program to MBA, although I don\'t have my green card yet but my lawyer never pointed out any problem with this.

how did you address the "prospect for continued employment" part of the RFE? My stupid employer is not willing to guarantee (on the paper) any future employment. Could you please publish what exactly have you (or your HR) written for this?..
