ND April 2001 - Approved finally.

-Transfered to local office sept 2005
-so many hustles during october to December 2005, many infopass'es , a lot of patience.
-Received formal letter that mention "my " interview will be schedulde.. in mid Feb ( could be trigerred by doing infopass)
- received another fingerprint (go figure ??) within 2 days after previous formal letter
- received an inteview date after 3 days.. ( whay getting fast? No Idea), the interview date is 3 weeks notice.
-Went to interview, a new place and better than downtownFederal Building.
-Went smoothly, I was kind of Nervous during the interview.
-My FBI Fingerprint was no clear yet
- Received the approval letter within 2 weeks

:D

Now. waiting my real green card. it stated "within 9 or 12 months" ?????
And just waiting :)

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement! At this point infopass won't do anything for me, as I got stuck in the nunc pro tunc deal. I'm not just sitting and waiting - I sent a letter to San Francisco Asylum Office. It appears to be the only working strategy for me. I've seen some progress on my case only after I was writing to the "Dragon" :D Another class action agianst INS/USCIS sounds like a good deal...

I have few question----When you did FBI Fingerprint (BIO code 1)?
-----------------------Did USCIS ask you for any RFE?

I have a question.. did you apply to Nunc pro Tunc? or why does you case in local office?

No Nunc Pro Tunc

I Have no idea whay my case tansferred to local office.

FBI fingerprint: 1 and 1/2 weeks before interview
NO RFE asked.
but I Need to bring my original Birth Certificate ...to show, but at the end of interview, the officer never asked it.
