Finally the long wait is over. Just got the email messages that my case has
been approved. My spouse's case is approved too.

My wait has been much shorter than many others but I still hated the wait.

I am not sure why I should be excited about this but it sure is a relief.

I did my 2nd FP on 11/9/2004.

1st FP - 2/06/2003
2nd FP - 11/9/2004
Contacted Congressman Jay Inslee (Seattle) - August 2004
They did speak to BCIS Nebraska and told me that FP is on its way
I485 Approval - 12/08/2004
 
Congrats and good luck for future. BTW what is your PD and did you LUD change after 2nd FP or before approval. Thanks

my case was an EB1, so no PD involved ....

The LUD never changed after FP2. I was pleasantly surprised to see the
approval email.
