Hey everybody, thanks for looking in. Well, my ND is 11/9 and it's been about 40 days and no FP appointment yet. I am worried because I see people with ND of 10/20 getting their EAD and it seems NBC/MSC is not far away from my ND and I have no appointment for FP yet!!

My ND 10/12/05..so far ...nothing...no FP notice. There feel better?
Its all very random and as Ive posted here and in my dealing with USCIS for many years, expect the worst!! And theres nothing you can do about it. So thats why from the beginning I stated I was just going to preparing for my upcoming iEAD, I suggest you do the same, its just a lot less frustrating that way. Cos the odds that people have to go that route seem pretty high, if you read in these forums.

Krakow, now that's interesting!! you will have to wait until your 90 day.. hmm in another forum (not here) there was this girl who was also from Philadelphia and she never got her FP appointment only an interview letter. Maybe that will be your case?? cool... well-- this waiting thingy is sort of draining the lifeforce out of me, I wonder why USCIS works so.. randomly.

If you notice my dates, my nd was 09-30-2005, I received my fingerprint notice on 12-12-2005. The appt. was for 12-29-2005, but I went ahead and made an infopass appt. to speak with an officer just so I could get my foot in the door. It worked... I was able to get my bio's on the 15th. and my EAD was approved yesterday the 19th. Now I'm just waiting on getting my card.

Guys, I went to have my FP done Code 2 only, there were 250 people today at brooklyn ASC for the FP. They were so busy that they had to tell people who had come there caz of the subway strike and were 2-3 days before their appointment to come on scheduled appt. day only. Also When the girl who took my pic and FP Code 2, I asked her if she will do the code 3 too, she said they will not do it as they are so far behind in NY that they are asked not to do more than the letter says. 
..damm I have to go there again.
In my opinion it depends on your area where u are and how busy they are that they will accomidiate you if u just show up.

Wow Sweetart you gave me hope hehehe well-- more waiting then, and I can be relaxed now (I'm sort of terrified of the idea of getting an interview appointment now...me and my hubby aren't ready).. hmm we're talking about 75 days .. I got about 35 more days to go then.
And to boot I tried making an infopass appointment for the iEAD and guess what it says "No infopass apointments available at this office"(Fully booked). Great system these guys have huh?? Someone else on these forums posted how it took him 21 days to get an appointment and thats why Im trying now! My suspicion as to why they're so fully booked is because they have a backup system(infopass) to try and handle the flaws in the normal system. I think they need a backup to their backup system which cant handle the magnitude of flaws!

Try just getting your foot in the door by making an infopass appt to speak with an officer. It seemed to me that there were more appts. for that than the iterim EAD appts. I just spoke with an officer and asked them to get my fingerprints and they directed me where to go. Oh by the way, I got my card the day after it said I was approved. A complete surprise to me!
