I just received a BIO appointment today in my mail box. The ASC appointment notice was was sent on August 26 2005. Seven days after they sent me RFE and before they received my response. No e mail from USCIS in regards to this. The code is 3.

Any idea what this means and when do you think the approval date will be?

Based on some of the most recent posts on this forum, you will most likely hear from them with an approval soon after you do your BIO. Try and schedule an InfoPass appointment to do the BIO instead of waiting for your appointment. BTW, where did you get your RFE and BIO from? Was it from Nebraska? I heard some 02 cases have been transferred to Texas.

Good luck

Hi FebAsylee,

Are you saying that people can reschedule their bio appointments to an ealier date than what it says on the notice through InfoPass? How does that work?

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. Some people have been successful in having their BIO done earlier though by either just showing up unscheduled and trying their luck or scheduling an InfoPass appointment and explaining that they might not be able to do it on the actual scheduled date because of some reason (which you will need to come up with). If you search this forum, I'm sure you will find posts by other people who have done one or the other.

one_of_u,

I just received a letter today stating that my case has been transfered to Texas. It does apeear that "Porkman's" theory that they may have transferred early 2002 cases to Texas is true. Please check your mail carefully, as I suspect that a simillar mail might be on its way to you. My letter is dated August 25, but only arrived today.

Good luck to you too! Just hang in there.

Just noticed that there is an address on the letter to where correspondence might be addressed.

Texas Service Center
P.O.Box 851488- Dept. A,
Mesquite, TX 75185-1488

Phone (214) 381-1423

If you haven't heard anything by the end of this week, it probably won't hurt to either write them at the above address with your address change or just give them a call.
