wow, that`s a good feeling! I have been having hard days at work and home for a last couple of days, But TODAY is a VERY SPECIAL DAY for me! I am approved!!!:D

I just checked my email and could not believe to see "CRIS" in my inbox. ;)

I did email them quite a few times before inquiring about my case but never got the response. :rolleyes: Instead only this message today. But i do not mind :) :)

I wish everybody good luck and i will pray for your green cards too. :)
 
Great!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!! :) I filed in March 2006 as well, so hopefully I will get my GC soon too. For now I am fighting with the USCIS to get my RTD before next Saturday to go home :D Can't wait...

Congratulations to you!

I have a quick question to you: when you submitted your I-485 application in Year 2006, did you submit I-693 Medical Examination as well? I got confused on the requirement. Please advise.

No, i did not. I was asked for medicals later ( see my signature) which was alomost one year after i submitted my 485.

Asylees were asked for medicals later at the actual time of their adjustments due to long wait time before. And i believe medicals are good only for one year. But now you are required to submit I-693 with your INITIAL application because they are moving much faster.
