Six months over from ND.

I have couple of questions:

1. If I change the employer now, what is the procedure?
do I need to inform INS about this and
what are all the consequences?

2. Is there any INS rule that I have to be with
same employer for 6 months to 1 year after
getting GC.

Why make a mountain of a molehill. You are lucky your client wanted you to join full time - AFTER waiting for 6 months to pass on the I-485. The law allows you to do so. If you want to be on the safe side, simply ask your attorney, or your client\'s attorney. But otherwise, you should be OK. Simply make sure you retain all paystubs from your previous employer and your new employer indicating continuity of employment in the same field.
