NC cleared and app. is forwarded to Examiniations Section

Does anybody know what is examinations sections. My NC was cleared on Oct 29, and according to a Congressional inquiry my app. was sent to the examinations sections for processing. Also, according to inquiry from the Senator's office, the reply came back stating that the application is in transit to one of Eb 485 supervisors. Does this mean the application is in the adjudication stage?

Thanks and I would appreciate if anyone could kindly clarify this issue.
 
looks like you will get approval soon. once, NC is cleared you are now free man. only is the matter of few days to get your GC in hand.
when did you post letters to senator or congressman?

I hope so! I called up the Congressman and senator's office around 2 weeks back and gave them the necessary details via Fax. After that they send and email inquiry to the center and in about a week or two they get the response. BTW, do you know what is the so-called 'examinations section'?
 
'examinations section' - your case was assigned to an IO to make a decision.

You are at the door man! As far as my conservative estimation is concerned you should have a good X'mas gift soon. Most of the applications that are decided in the last couple of weeks were from early sept-2006 to late oct-2006. If the info you got from IO is right (I belive is right:)) you should be getting the mail soon, as suggested by hunter2006. On the flip side, it is hoilday season, most of them accumulate leave for this period, even IO's have families, so sit tight you should be done soon. All the best.
