How far is the oath taking date from the interview date usually if application is approved? And from the oath taking, how long does it take to get a US passport?
I have an interview on 2/24, but I have to go to my country on 4/8 for brother's wedding. Will I be able to get the passport by then? I've heard that they take your green card either on the interview or oath taking so if I don't get a passport, I won't be able to leave the country. Do I have to reschedule my interview for when I get back? Thanks!
