Naturalization of a children below 18 years

Me and my family got the PR early this year. My daughter is 6 years old. Can she apply for Naturalization after 5 years of continous stay in US?
General Naturalization Requirements says the age must be atleast 18. There is another topic for Naturalized Citizen's Children. I am confused. Is it like the children can get Naturalization after their parents get Naturalized? Any one underwent this experience?

Minor children automatically get US citizenship when one both parents become citizens. There is no additional process to undergo.

Yep, get yourself/selves naturalized and your minor permanent resident children get citizenship automatically. Then you can just get a passport for them right away or apply to get a certificate of citizenship as proof of their U.S. citizenship. The children get naturalized by law in the aforementioned way, no need to file paperwork for their naturalization.

My 2 cents.

PS: The minor children have to be legal permanent residents to benefit from this automatic citizenship. The original poster's case seem to fit all the right conditions to grant automatic citizenship to their daughter upon the parent/s naturalization.
