Hi all,

what is the timeframe when USCIS send the oath letter before the actual oath date ceremony. In other words, should I expect the oath letter around 1 month before the oath ceremony?

Thanks

I got mine on the 1st of December for a 14th of December ceremony but from what I read on here there is no typical pattern. I've seen from one week to 6 weeks notice being reported.

Oath Letter

I would agree that there is no real pattern and they sometime forget to send it. In my case, I had to wait for a while for year and a half to get my Oath letter after from my interview. I had to take legal action to get my name cleared from FBI name check. Once that happened the USCIS kept sending the letters to a wrong address when the correct address was recoreded in their system. So, I would suggest that always follow up with USCIS by calling them or any other means because information is sometimes lost and requires some action from the applicant to get to you.

hi trueamerican,
My name is already been cleared. if it wasn't cleared I would not have the interview. USCIS does not schedule interviews any more without the name is cleared.

Thanks
