We (myself and my wife) had our interview today. Our priority date is Jan 21, 2003, fingerprinted on Feb 28, 2003.

My application was recommended for approval and I would get the letter for oath in mail.

In case of my wife, the officer told her that she had passed the English and Civics Test, but the decision would be informed by mail in about 2 weeks. She had been outside US for 10months after getting GC. But we had provided all the documentation about our residence here (like rent receipts, tax filings, pay checks etc). The officer asked her the reason for such a long absence. She told him about her mother's health and gave him the supporting letter from the Physician in India.

a) Does anyone have any idea what the likely outcome is ?

b) Any similar experiences ?

Thanks
Manjunath
