Just get a US passport for him. If you have another $460 to spare, you can also get a certificate of citizenship for the him by filing N-600.
He automatically became a US citizen when you naturalized and must use a US passport when reentering the US. The N-600 is optional, but is a useful backup for when the passport gets lost or expires, especially if there is any delay/backlog in renewing the passport (like there have been on some occasions in recent years); the certificate does not expire, but passports do.Is there any reason why you should file for N-600? is passport enough?
