PHILADELPHIA, PA On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14th, American Families United and UniteFamilies.org, with the support of the Day Without an Immigrant Coalition and other pro-immigrant organizations, will make a national call for Congress to enact immigration laws that reflect our national values and reunite the more than one million Americans, both U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents, who are separated by current immigration law.

We urge positive public actions to show support for family reunification:

1) Please pray for the American children separated from their parents.

2) Please tie red, white, and blue ribbons around trees in your yard.

Town hall meetings and other Mother’s Day events are planned in Philadelphia and other cities around the country.
