National Customer Service Center system down????

I am trying to call National Customer Service Center to get the status of my case from last 2-3 weeks and everytime I give my receipt number it says that there is temp. error in their system so cannot get the status. Does anybody else has same experience?? I filed in CSC in Jan 2005.

If it gives you any consolation, I have been hearing "temporary problem with our system" for last 1 year. I am also EB1 OR pending at NSC since may 2004. Immigration officer blatantly told me that they are not going to fix this problem.
