Naperville, - FP Reschedule

FingerPrinting Appt: 03/06/2002, in Naperville, IL

Can I postpone FP Appt by MORE than 2 weeks? I am out of the US at the time of FP appointment. Will this delay the overall I-485 application?

if possible....

you should check with your local INS office where your FP appointment has been scheduled.....if they can do the fingerprinting early....I have seen some posts where people have gone to their local INS office and got the FP done early....depends on local INS office to office....if not possible then you have no choice but to postpone the FP appointment.....I don\'t think that in your case it would delay the case too much....have a safe trip......

I agree with 485ND0921. Going early is one option. if that doesn\'t suits, then u can always reschedule your FP. But a new resceduled date depends on the Local Application Support Center. So it is pretty much a gamble. But I think even if the rescheduled notice did\'t come, if u go to the ASC, with old FP notice and with a copy of the request for reschudule, may be the ASC will honor u\'r request. Good luck.
