I have been stuck in namecheck and retrogression for > 2yrs now
Since my priority date became current this month became a little excited and went for an Infopass appt for checking my name check. I was told that the namecheck is still pending and they cannot do anything yada, yada, yada.
The only bright spot was that when I asked that my priority date is current now, will that help? He said priority date becoming current "might help".
Also wanted to point out NSC is going like a snail compared to TSC. But I did not expect any better when my case was transferred from efficient CSC to NSC.
GC process started Jan 2001 in CSC
485 applied --> Jan 20th 2005
Priority Date --> June 30th 2001
CSC > NSC --> Mar 7th 2007
Namecheck Pending --> Wrote to senator and will write to First Lady today.
