i was watching this forum for quite some time now, and i've been surprised how much i learned thanks to some knowledgeable people(i.e. RAhul Kumar).
i still have some questions about namecheck process.
i know that is done for I-485,N-400,asylum etc, but hoe about I-130 processing at the embassy in other than some designated countries(visa mantis,condor etc)
is namecheck done CP or not. i am talking about Hungary for example.
and since when is namecheck done?i came here in sept 2002 on a CR-1 visa, and now it's time to do a N-400, but the more i read the more i get worried about the incredible length of times some people experience.
i did a FOIPA and it came back negative. i forgot to mention that all process from start to end it took 3 weeks for CR-1 visa.
should i expect anydelays in N-400 processing?
