NameCheck Cleared - How long it will take for GreenCard?

Hi:

My name check got cleared on April 21, 2005 and I received response from FBI regarding the same. Could someone let me know how long it will take for my GreenCard to be approved?

Here are my details:

I140 & I485 (concurrent filing) - March 15, 2004
140 - approved on Feb 23, 2005
FP - september 30, 2004
NameCheck cleared : April 21, 2005

Your help or comments are appreciated
 
What's your EB cat? if EB3 then it depends on your PD. They are (INS) clearing applicications filed in 02 and 03, I would say it will take anywhere between 6-12 months.

but at the end who knows if you are lucky it might get approved tomorrow. But keep your spirits high.

My RD is 08/2002 and my FP was done in 09/2002 and results sent right then. My Name-Check went through in 12/2002. So as you could see, everything went fine and am still awaiting my approval.

BTW, there was a second FP in 09/2004 and a second Name-Check in 01/2004 and my Interview was over in 04/2005.

Moral: Mere completion of Name-check has no bearing on your AD.

What did you do to get the FBI response for your name check? Did you send them a letter or fax? Could you please let me know the address or the number?

Mine is EB2 Category. PD is July 2002. Could you tell me when its will be approved?

I sent an email to FBI with my A# and they replied back that they sent my result to Washington DC on April 21, 2005..
 
Question for DallasBoy

DallasBoy - I had also filed my 140 & 485 in March '04. did my FP the same time you did and my 140 was approved in Jan '05. I sent an email to FBI namecheck in March requesting confirmation. Have not heard from them yet.

How did you confirm that your name check got completed? Did FBI share with you the specific date when your name check was completed or did they respond on April 21st letting you know that your name check was complete?
