I want to file a family based Green Card application for my wife. Her Birth certificate has a different name, her parents changed the name later on.
So her passport/Secondary School Leaving Certificate have the correct name.
We obtained an affidavit 4 years ago which basically says that the name is incorrect on the birth certificate and what her correct name should be...We needed it for a different purpose.
Can I use the same affidavit now? Or do I have to get a new one or do something else? Shall I try to obtain a new birth certificate from the Indian Embassy?
Any help/advise on this will be highly appreciated.
