name misspelt on H-1..Will it affect I140 filing?

Hi guys,

My name was misspelt on my H-1 approval notice.Even though i didn't have any middle initial,they put a middle initial.My labor was cleared few days back and am planning to apply for I-140 and I-485 concurrently..?Will this affect them in anyway..?Can I go ahead and apply for them?My lawyer says that he will put in a amendment notice to BCIS today.

Same happened with me. I filed amendment and received the new H-1 approval papers with correct first name within 20 days. BEtter to be safe than sorry since it only takes 20 days.
