name misspelled in fingerprint(FP) notice

Hi folks,

We just got the notice from INS for our fingerprints to be taken. The problem is my wife\'s first name is misspelled in the notice. It has an extra character. I just asked my attorney on what to do. I didn\'t get a reply yet. We have only 15 days before the appointment.

Anybody experienced similar problems? What can we do? Is it going to delay the I-485 process? Thanks for any inputs.

Dont worry

Even my last name was misspelt wrong on FP Notice & I-140.

While doing Finger Print, the officer asks us to cross check the data with their FP machine. Tell Officer that your name is wrong. He will NOT make NAME changes to system (cause Bar Code on FP Notice depends on First, Last Name & other info. Thats How they track). BUT he will make note of NAME difference into some other section of FP system.
