Name correction procedure on the plastic card.

I recently recieved the actual plastic card after my passport has been stamped. I noticed that my last name has been slightly miss spelt in the card. One alphabet is missing from my lastname. What is the procedure to get it corrected?

Also is it ok to travel outside usa with the card on which my name is miss spelt?
 
You need to file I-90. When you file I-90, they will put a stamp in your passport similar to the one you got for GC stamping. That stamp should be good enough for travel. I think they will take away the incorrect card at the time of filing I-90.

If this is USCIS mistake then you dont need to pay while filing I-90. Make sure to request a fee waiver which they will do. And till then it should not be a problem with international travel using incorrect plastic card!
