Name Check??

Is there a way to find out whether the name check is cleared??
I got my EAD, AP and I 140 approved. I got my FP done in May'06, within 10 days of filing my 485.
I would like to know how to know whether we pass that name check point or not??
 
Called the FMI on 9/4/06 and it is for the division that only deals with fingerprinting and they do not give out the number of the division that heandles the name checks or security checks because "they do not speak with the public"!!
 
Mine is stuck up in Name check since 03/2004. I initiated all different contacts thru Congressman, USCIS CS office... etc. I even called FBI on the number given and they told not to release any information to the private individuals. Don't know how to get it cleared.... Any suggestions/ help is much appreciated.
