name check

I was wondering,on parents' green card application... when they aprove the I130... does that mean that they have already done the name check?? what about the I 485?? i ask because in my dad's case, they approved the I130, but no news on the I 485... so does this mean that he is stuck in name check? or is this just normal? his case was transferred to CSC so we weren't expecting an interview... any one have any idea?? thanks a lot.

Name checks are done for the I-485, not the I-130.
