My I-485 RD is 11/2002 and I got a RFE on 09/2004. It has been 7 months since I replied, no updates yet. Called the customer service number, been told to write a letter for inquiry since the primary applicant's case has been approved on sep. 2004. Apparently, that counts as a reason for inquiry (?). anyway, send the letter twice, no reply whatsoever.
Does it mean my case is stuck in name check? should I email to ask? can someone please tell me what to write(samples will be great)? I read some people contacted senator for the name checking inquiry, is it the better approach?
Please help! any old 2002 filers has the similar experience? it's way way frustrating!!
