Name check with FBI

How do we know if my name check has been done by FBI and how can I check with FBI on this? My Finger Prints were done on Sept 21, 04. I'll appreciate if some one explain this.

You can either send an Email to FBI or Fax a request to them. FBI has stopped taking phone enquiries.
