Name check was completed on November 7, 2003

I got response from FBI that my name check was done on November 7, 2003. I gave my 2nd FP on August 3rd 2004. What does this mean? VSC hasn't requested for name check yet or FBI has not completed yet?
I am confused as FBI hasn't said anything about name check pending for my 2nd FP.

Pl. guide what I should do next.

Name Check with FBI is done only once for the entire I485 process and FBI Finger Printing Check is done once in every 15 months. So don't worry, you are fine and I think your case should be ready to be adjudicated. If you want to find out the FBI Finger Printing Results then Call this number 304 625 5590 and press option 3. The staff there will pick up
the phone call. Tell her/him your Alien # and ask for the fingerprint
result. Hope this answers your concern.

Hi,

Here is my Situation.
On 8/4/2004 a RFE was issued for I485 I sent all the paper work on 8/28.
On 9/1/2004 my LUD changed saying my RFE has receievd.
On 9/9/2004 I received FP2 notice but my LUD didn't change this time.
Since than It has n't changed. I am concern about if FP2 is received by USCIS. If LUD supposed to change.. Or Since I have RFE on my case so no LUD will change.

Please advise.

I got my First FP on 09/09/04, but my Notice date for I-485 is 07/14/03. So does it mean that my name check is not done yet ? Is it necessary that Name Check is done after First Finger Printing ?

To be very honest, it is really very difficult to exactly predict the LUD changes as CIS website doesn't really say why the LUD has changed. I think most of us here on this forum will take a wild guess about the LUD changes depending upon the status of their individual cases.

So don't really worry about the LUD changes as it will really create lot of mental stress and I am telling you this with personal experience. All you have to do it to make sure that your FBI Name and Finger Printing Checks are completed with no issues and then just Pray GOD for your approval !

Name check is generally initiated by CIS as soon as the application is filled with USCIS. I am not a lawyer so if you need more info browse this forum and you will find more answers to your concern.

needhelp1 - I've already inquired for fingerprint results and fortunately they are done and sent.

Now, I am relieved and praying GOD for my approval.

Anytime GC092002!. You can always initiate an enquiry with National Customer Service Center and ask them why your cases is getting delayed as your RD & ND are past their processing dates on their website. This is your call whether to call them or not. It is just a suggestion from my side.

Ctc USCS customer service, put an inquiry, got a reply. "Your application has been delayed for routine figure print checks that are resulting in delay. As a result of the lack of manpower to complete your check, we have no control over how long these checks will take. We give no definite indication of when they will be completed. We apologize for the delay"

Ctc customer service and they no idea about the time frame. Here again wait...

As per discussions in other forums. People told me that Name is only done once during the filing of your I485 or during FP1 so i guess this is not correct answer. I would call FBI and try to find out what is happening with FP2 results. Has they sent out to USCIS?

Hi,
FYI I just called FBI and they told me that my FP2 was done and succesffuly completed on sept 10. But my LUD didn't change.

Even old FP1 message hasn't changed yet. I don't know what is going on with my file.

Yes, now I am eager to submit an inquiry request. I was told on phone that I can do so once processing date (09/21/2002) passes my RD (09/09/2002) + 30 days.

I want to go for request to expedite the approval. Do you have any format letter, I will search this site and am sure to find something strong and effective to write.

got response of my status enquiry

On October 20, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

There is nothing pending. Finger Print results are sent back and Name Check is also done.

What the response would be ? Any idea or guess???
