name check via CONDOR or MANTIS, what now?

I'm from a middle eastern country and went through the CONDOR (apply on mainly 26 countries mainly middle eastern) visa program many times. this visa program is like the visa MANTIS where both require FBI name check before giving the nonimmigrant visa.

my question is if i already got my visas 2 times doing the condor visa program, and things went out pretty fast, does this mean that my name check for the I485 will go fast too?

in a way i passed the namecheck before, does it mean that i'm clear now for I-485?

I am in the same situation but i do not think it matter to them since its different naming procedure and not connected system.

i think in condor, they do a namecheck through the UNI system of FBI and also for the I-485 they use the UNi too. so in my opinion they r doing the same procedure. I'm right on this?

if so, then i believe if u passed the namecheck for condor then u will pass it quickly for I485. right?

I really wish if this is the case, that would save us allot of time and issues ( many people on this forum stuck with name checks for years ).

My co-worker ( for example ) got RFE requesting copy of all I-94s since he moved to the state, so if the immigration is one who is requesting I-94 like they can not find what was his status since he moved to USA , I would imagine they redo the naming checks again for us.

Again I wish if I am wrong and they use the same naming checking system.

i'm not saying they will not do the name check for us again. all what I'm sayin that if u got ur visa through the condor thing, ur name has been passed already through the namecheck. so if for ur i485 a namecheck is required they will go ahead and redo it but the result will be good and quick bcs u haven't been caught before. is it clear now?

by the way from which country r u? and why they did for u a visa therough condor or mantis? just wana make sure that you passed through those visa programs bcs they r not applicable on everybody.

I actually have the same question. I am from one of the 26 countries that require this check to get a visa stamp and have been through it before. I'm not sure if it will help really, having gone through it before. It has something to do with the name, so if your name is common and matches something in their database, the security check takes long.

when u talk about name is common the security check gets longer, r u talking about this check that u went through when u got ur visa?

People, visa checks done are fast. Namecheck for USCIS takes years to complete. You get the drift, don't you. "Abandon all hope ye who enter here."

this namecheck visa system condor is just for people from middle east. some people get stuck with it for many months. if u read the link above u will know that they r using the same system as the I485 namecheck.

The text is three years old.

true but the system is the system. condor uses the UNI system which is the same that USCIS uses for namecheck through I485. so for people like me, who took their visas through condor, I bet we passed before the namecheck. hope that now the same result will be repeated.
