Name Check Status?

Is Name Check initiated after the Fingerprinting is done? or is it done when the receipt number (I485) is issued?

How can I know when the Name Check is initiated? Any answers?

I have seen some responses where people state that they checked their status of Name Check and the message was "xyz" - where do you check it?

No. The timing of the name check is independent of the fingerprinting. They're two seperate checks.

You can find out name check results by going to a InfoPass appointment at your local USCIS office.
