name check quota?

Hi,

on a CSC - I-140 thread someone reportedly was told by an officer on the emergency line that his name check is not completed and he would have to wait for a new "quota" to become available to them.
Anyone heard about name check quotas and limits etc?

I called emergency line on April 1 and was told about the Quota thing. The officer advised me to go for H1 extension as it might take some time.

Today on April 4, I got LUD on 485 in the morning without message change and few hours later, got emails fron USCIS that my 140 was approved.

Congratulations ! I140 is already a good step.

Please keep us updated on the 485.

Labor PD is Dec 2002. It is EB2, substitute labor.

140 - RD 9/30/04, ND 10/5, AD 4/1/05 No LUD before approval, email on 4/4, LUD 4/4 and 4/5/05
485 - RD 9/30/04, ND 10/5, LUD - 10/27, 11/10 (FP results), 4/4/05, 4/5/05
