Name check Questions

I have my Citizenship interview in 6 weeks. My question is can you find out before the interview that your name check is cleared?

Do the tell you at the time of interview that your name check will need more time?

I am quite concerned reading horror stories about this and so trying to find out in advance if possible before the interview.
The other thing is when ever I travel they not my name and info etc. so i am guessing my name is close to a name that is on one of the lists. Can this have anything to do with the name check issue people are posting.

Anyone with such experience where they get their name etc. noted at the airport but the name check came clear.

The easiest way to find out whether Name Check has been completed or not is to take an Infopass appointment and hope to get a helpful immigration officer.

Yes, typically, if your name check is not yet complete, they clearly indicate that at the end of the interview. But nowadays USCIS do not schedule interviews until name check has been completed.

You really can't do much if you have pending name check. So, no point in getting concerned on a topic that is not totally under your control.
