name check pending . can I change to consular processing?

Hello Gurus,

my I-485 is pending for FBI name check clearance. I understood that 80% of name check clears in 72 hours as per FBI report.

and whichever do not clear gets into the infinite waiting loop.

So i am consideing the idea of changing to consular processing which at the most take 6 month to 1 year .

Any suggestions please....
