Applied for N400 on August 29,2005 on basis of Active duty military.Got interview letter from USCIS for Mar 06 which was later cancelled due to change in USCIS policies to avoid lawsuits.I have been waiting for 16 months for name check when average time it takes for military personnel to get citizenship is 3 to 6 months.
After finding this Newsgroup i have sent letters to senators,congressman,FBI and first lady last week.I am getting ready to file mandamus action next month .My question is can we still file mandamus after the USCIS changed the regulations to avoid lawsuit ? Who do i file lawsuit against ?.FBI or uscis ?Also due to being in military i might move to another state but my case stays in NC. Can i file a lawsuit in any state or it has to be under the disctrict court under whose jurisdiction charlotte uscis office is
