Name check is still pending ?

Today I have called USCIS to find out my status , they said that my name check is still pending ? I do not know what does this mean ? Can any one explain how long does it take and any findings and your your experiances,

When was your FP? Detailed signature helps. If it has been more than a couple of months then you should get proactive about getting to the bottom of your name/security check issues.

There are a number of ways on this forum to contact FBI about your status, but I dont think they work anymore.

Try enlisting the help of a supportive federal elected official's office. They may be able to help.
