We are struck in FBI Name check. If I file FOIPA now, would that help to get the GC soon ? or Should I wait for a month then file FOIPA? Any advise ?
Also IO said , we are struck in Name check because the interview took place early(72 days) then it used to. He also said we might get cleared in a month.

You can always file for the FOIPA anytime. and no that won't help you get your greencard sooner, unless you sue USCIS and use that as part evidence.

There is a thread on the citizenship forum where a number of people are stuck on name checks for greencards and naturalizations, and it gives you instructions on how to if you like to do it yourself.

I myself got stuck on name check for naturalization for 2.5 years and ended up suing them in order to get my citizenship.

To be honest with you 72 days after the interview is not much. Some others are even waiting 5 years since applying for greencard due to name checks.

good luck
