Name check done 2 years ago would help ?

Hi,

Just curious: I had the FBI name check 2 years ago (when filing Canada GC). Would it speed up my pending I-485 name check (81 days so far) ?

my friend i dont know whether its gona effect on ur 485 or not, but i know if it is within 6 months then they shouldn't initiate it again, My case is same, i have a canadian GC, I got my name checked thru FBI for Canadian GC 1 year ago, and it's been alomost more then 4 months my 140-485 is in pending.
